Simon’s Burger Journal
Do you like eating out? Do you always find yourself drawn to a certain menu choice?…
Well one of our team members, Simon, found that he could develop his love of one particular menu choice into a hobby when he created the Burger Journal!
Starting with a blog that ended up becoming the full blown website www.burgerjournal.co.uk, Simon set up a place where he could share his dining experiences with others with a similar love of the staple menu choice, the burger! These days, you can scarcely avoid burgers whether you walk into a trendy bar or a rustic pub in the middle of nowhere and the Burger Journal is dedicated to the pursuit of rating burgers of all shapes and sizes from around the UK!
From a steak-topped burger in Scotland, to a burnt patty in a cave in Birmingham, all of Simon’s reviews can be found here burgerjournal.co.uk/category/blog/ and are certainly well worth a read. He hopes that there is “something for everyone” as the site also goes into detail about the venues and staff as well as the meal itself.
Simon’s ultimate aim in time, is to include reviews from other people from far and wide, building a network of the best (and worst) places to find burgers!
This quest has thus far resulted in the burger journal featuring on restaurant websites, interviews on radio Shropshire and even invites into the kitchens of restaurants themselves, all clambering to have their burgers reviewed by our very own team member.
Who knows, Simon may even end up on TV (that is certainly a dream of his) and, with its already overwhelming success, the sky truly is the limit.
